Located in Rancho Cucamonga, California, Hidden Oaks is a verdant wedding venue specializing in Christian Orthodox events. Highlighted by an ancient 250-year-old oak tree and views of the San Gabriel Mountains, the venue is constructed of stone and redwood, featuring garden spaces and 1920s architecture. With plans to develop their whole area into a Biblical Botanical Garden, the venue is constantly updating the grounds, enhancing and changing the landscape. Hosting Christian ceremonies and receptions in addition to bridal showers and engagement parties, Hidden Oaks allows usage of their vintage building as well as their outdoor lawn and gardens.Facilities and CapacityBoth outdoor and indoor events can be accommodated at Hidden Oaks. Whether using the historical building for a 130-guest ceremony, or hosting your wedding outside in the Gazebo, the staff works hard to accommodate every need. Couples who are holding larger weddings can choose to use the outdoor patio for up to 400 guests. A parking attendant will be on-site to help direct parking and the way to wheelchair access.Services OfferedWhen booking the facility, couples also reserve the use of venue staff for set up and clean up of provided chairs and tables, as well as additional event planning assistance before the wedding. A bride?s room is made available to the couple and bridal party for use on the wedding day. A Hidden Oaks facilitator will also be on-site for the event, ensuring the couple has everything they require for their event. While no alcoholic beverages are allowed on the premises, the venue does allow outside vendors for items such as catering, decorating, and musical entertainment. HistoryThis historical building was first constructed in 1926, in an architectural style known as ?Mission Revival Style.? The style is also known as ?Spanish Colonial Revival,? ?Cobblestone Craftsman Mission,? and ?Craftsman/California Rancho? architecture. Changing hands many times, the property was first used as a dedicated wedding facility in the 1970s. The building and property received protection by the State Historical Preservation Office in 1996, as preservation from the massive build of the 210 Freeway extremely close to the site. In the next couple years, the property was acquired by the church, and declared a historical site in 2003 by the city of Rancho Cucamonga. Many renovations and upgrades have been made to keep the Hidden Oaks site in working condition while preserving its historical significance.
