We are thrilled to announce the opening of the Pierce Ranch House, located one hour southwest of Houston on highway 59/69.
The Pierce Ranch was founded in the mid 1800’s by Abel “Shanghai” Pierce, a legendary Texas cattleman. Today, our ranch is still family owned and operated, and we are proud to share Shanghai’s legacy. The Pierce Ranch House was built in 1886, at the north end of Shanghai’s 32,000 acre ranch. He brought his new England sensibilities to the stately residence, and his daughter and granddaughter planted Live Oak trees that now frame and shade the entire compound.
There are several beautiful locations for an outdoor wedding on the property. But what enhances the appeal of this venue is the lodging and the grounds. You can turn your wedding into a destination weekend, with private access to all the amenities and lodging for up to fifty people!
