They also offer an additional 875 square foot room to rent in conjunction with your event to use as a lounge, childcare, waiting area, bar, and more. Guests can also enjoy their outdoor patio and take in the sights of downtown Raleigh.Services Offered Your rental fee includes a long list of equipment and features for you to use, including tables and chairs as well as a state-of-the-art sound system and speakers throughout the facility. Plus, they allow you to select a caterer of your choice, adding a more personalized touch to your wedding day. You can also serve alcohol at your event as long as you are working with an insured bartender. In addition, they offer an exclusive list of preferred vendors to work with to bring your wedding visions to life.     History Those who grew up in the Raleigh area during the 1950s and 1960s will probably recall the aroma of freshly baked bread filling the air as you traveled down Hillsborough Street. As a student, you may have enjoyed a field trip to the Royal Bakery building for a tour of the bread bakery. In 1997, the Royal Bakery joined the National Register of Historic Places as part of Raleigh?s unique and valuable history. Since the redevelopment of the bakery in 2000, a variety of tenants now occupy over 28,000 square feet of space. These include Ben & Jerry?s, f8 Photo Studio, Brickhouse Sports Bar, Jasmine?s, Halo Salon, Lucky Tree, and most importantly, The Royal Banquet & Conference Center.
