The venue is a working fruit and vegetable farm with crops that provide a picturesque backdrop for your wedding photos. Silver Queen Farm sits on a 100-acre plot of land in the Finger Lakes with several spaces to choose from for ceremonies and receptions both inside and out. The barn is filled with rustic charm, but can be easily transformed to offer an elegant ambiance for your perfect wedding.
    Facilities and Capacity
    The large on-site barn has 30-foot wooden cross gable ceilings, and can host up to 200 guests. The space has a country aesthetic, but every couple is welcome to make it feel uniquely their own. Wedding ceremonies and receptions, as well as bridal showers, engagement parties, and even rehearsal dinners, can be held indoors or out. There is ample parking and the facility is wheelchair accessible.

    Silver Queen Farm owner Gordie Gallup had long dreamt of owning a working farm with a house on it for family to live. He worked as a home builder for 30 years, and used that experience to create his perfect family home and the stunningly charming wedding barn. Over the course of several decades and with the help of his two daughters, Gordie has finally achieved his dream.

    Silver Queen Farm is located between Ithaca and Watkins Glen. Nearby, there are several wineries, restaurants, and plenty of beautiful views. The working farm grows strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, potatoes, onions, garlic, peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, tomatillos, cauliflower, broccoli, kale, lettuce, cabbage, winter squash, corn, pumpkins, and more, for local farm to table restaurants, making for one-of-a-kind photo opportunities.
