The Southampton History Museum is dedicated to preserving, exhibiting, and educating the public on the history of the Town of Southampton. We have four historic properties that are usually tools for education, but two of these historic venues can be the perfect place for your wedding in the Hamptons.
The Rogers Mansion
The Rogers Mansion is the perfect place for any type of event you wish to have! In the past we have hosted weddings, corporate cocktail parties, all-day fairs and birthday parties. The Rogers Mansion brings with it an air of elegance and great historical impact.
Your guests will get to explore the entire first floor of the museum featuring our permanent exhibit showing how the home may have looked while last lived in by Samuel L. Parrish in the early 1900s and other changing exhibits giving insight into the various parts of Southampton?s past. Our large entertainment room, the Music Room, can be used as a place for cocktails, hanging out or as the perfect place for an intimate sit down meal. A spacious kitchen is also available for use by your choice of caterer to prepare whatever delicious foods your event requires.
The doors at the end of the Music Room open out to the Great Lawn which can fit a 100×30 foot tent. Guests will also be able to roam our entire 1.7 acre property and get a glimpse of our 11 outbuildings.
