Milltown is a combination of three unique wedding venues in the San Antonio, Texas area. The venues include the Venue on the River, The Grande and The Gallery. Each space is elegant and historic, highlighting the significance of their structures in the Milltown Historic District. Couples will find these venues in the New Braunfels, Texas area, approximately 50 minutes from San Antonio.Facilities and Capacity Each of Milltown three venues invites couples and guests to explore the natural beauty of the surrounding city and landscape. The River Venue seats up to 200 guests for a couple?s wedding. Ceremonies can take place on the grassy lawn on the bank of the Guadalupe River. The country chic banquet hall space features a large deck overlooking the river and a room with floor-to-ceiling windows. The polished wood and natural stone add to the outdoorsy atmosphere of this venue. The Grande is a ballroom that seats up to 175 guests on the day of the couple?s wedding. The ballroom, with high ceilings and sparkling chandeliers, can be setup for a ceremony or reception. Outdoor ceremonies can take place beneath the shelter of a charming white gazebo. This ballroom also has a grand staircase, hardwood floors and a covered courtyard that’s styled after the French Quarter. The Gallery is the smallest event space, seating up to 75 guests. It too has an outdoor ceremony space in the landscaped courtyard with a stone arch. Accommodation This venue includes five restored cabins, originally built in the 1960s. All five cabins are within walking distance to the three venues and serve dually as overnight accommodations and unique bridal suites. The Mill Haus #478-A and The Mill Haus #478-B are each traditional brown wooden cabins. They sleep four and 15 people respectively. The Mill Haus #431 has yellow siding; The Mill Haus #407 boasts blue siding, and Mill Haus #435 features tan siding. These three cabins sleep between four and seven guests.
