    The Bryan House is a historic farmhouse and wedding venue located in Mission, Texas. The house was originally built in 1909 by famous politician, writer and orator William Jennings Bryan. In 2016, the current owners turned it into the bed and breakfast it is today. It features both indoor and outdoor sites for intimate weddings. The Bryan House is a venue filled with history, charm and character.Facilities and Capacity Couples can accommodate up to 150 guests at this garden setting. You can exchange your vows inside the elegantly styled house, or outside on their beautiful grounds. The house, which can also be used for your reception, features elegant antiques throughout.     History William Jennings Bryan built this house as his winter residence, after his third attempt at the presidency. When he was serving as Secretary of State under Woodrow Wilson, he purchased 160 acres of land at the beginning of the development of the Rio Grande Valley and the city of Mission. In 1916 he moved his residence to Miami after the Mexican Revolution broke out.
