The front of the property is Classical in style and has kept the house?s original exterior and layout, among other details. The property underwent award-winning restorations in the 1980s to correct the neglect it had suffered over the years. It is located near New Orleans? iconic French Quarter.
Facilities and Capacity
The Benachi House and Gardens can hold indoor celebrations of up to 75 guests, while up to 200 people can enjoy an event set in the beautiful gardens, surrounded by statuesque trees. Guests are greeted by a Rococo fountain as they approach the house, setting an elegant atmosphere. For celebrations of up to 60 guests, the parlors, dining room, gardens, or patio can be used. Outdoor ceremonies can be held on the elegant front gallery or pavilion, while receptions can take advantage of a romantic rear patio. Intimate gatherings can use the idyllic gazebo. Tents can be erected for outdoor events, as good weather is not always guaranteed. Get-ready rooms are provided for both sides of the wedding party, the larger of which has a private balcony. Accommodation is available in the onsite cottage for overnight stays.
