Located in Kerhonkson, New York, Rustic Ridge View Farm is a 150-acre working horse farm and wedding venue. This family-owned farm offers spectacular views of the mountains, grazing horses, and even curious guinea hens. The unique venue and farm is flexible and accessible the entire weekend, from Friday to Sunday, for your wedding events. You and your guests can enjoy the privacy and freedom while celebrating your nuptials together. Other than the ceremony and reception, couples can host their rehearsal dinner and post-wedding brunch on the farm too.
Facilities and Capacity
Rustic Ridge View Farm accommodates up to 500 people on the property. You can hold your ceremony outside among the beautiful views and then move under the covered, weather-proof pavilion for the reception. The massive pavilion boasts tall ceilings with exposed wooden planks to give it more of a rustic feel. Glowing paper lanterns hang from the ceiling softening the space. You may choose to enter the wedding ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage or tractor-drawn hay wagon. There are get-ready rooms available on-site for convenience, and the farm is wheelchair accessible. On the day of the wedding, friendly parking staff will be on-hand to help you and your guests.
Services Offered
Rustic Ridge has an event coordinator ready to work with you during the planning of your big day. The event coordinator will help with everything from the logistics of the wedding, to working with other vendors, down to the landscaping and flowers on the farm. There are handmade wooden farm tables and ceremony benches available to use. The farm encourages you to work with outside vendors for catering. There are bartenders at Rustic Ridge that can serve a variety of beverage options to you and your guests during an open or limited bar. They do provide barware, china, flatware, glassware, and linens to use. Because you have access to the farm before the big day, you can set up the space as you wish, with the help of the Rustic Ridge staff.
Location
The farm is located in the Hudson Valley, just west of scenic New Paltz and an hour and a half outside New York City. There are a number of lodging and hotels close by for you and your guests. Adventurous guests can bring a tent and camp out on the property under the stars.
