The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club is a tropical wedding venue located in Sanibel, Florida, that has everything you would imagine for an island wedding. Whether you want a beach ceremony, barefoot in the sand; a ceremony in front of the sparking lake at sunset; or a ceremony on the 18th hole of the golf course, the Dunes has it all. For more than 40 years, couples have chosen to host their wedding ceremonies, receptions, bridal parties, and engagement parties at this venue.
Facilities and Capacity
The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club can accommodate all sizes of weddings up to 150 guests. There are multiple reception spaces on the property you can choose from, with open-air, tented, or indoor options, and each one is unique to fit your wedding style. The Sanibel Inn Oceanfront is a sister property to the Dunes where you can host a breathtaking beach ceremony on the Gulf of Mexico. The Dunes Sunset Lake offers an outdoor location on the lake that is surrounded by flowers and palm trees. The 18th hole on the golf course sits within a stunning wildlife preserve sanctioned by the Audubon Society and offers a picturesque location. There is also an outdoor pavilion and poolside terrace available, along with the Dunes clubhouse as an indoor option. For out-of-town guests, there are four resorts at the Inns of Sanibel that offer lodging and accommodations on-site. Parking, valet, and wheelchair access are also available.
Services Offered
At the Dunes, you will have a personal event and catering coordinator to work with you during the planning process and select the services you need based on your wedding. The Executive Chef and catering team will help you plan your wedding menu and food selections. The venue provides chairs, tables, linens, china, flatware, glassware, and barware. Servers and bartenders are available to serve beverages such as house liquor and wine. The exceptional staff members will set up and clean up all items for your wedding event. Other services offered include lighting and audio/visual equipment, photography, transportation for the couple, flowers, musical entertainment, and even a bakery. You can also plan golf outings for your wedding party.
