Friday Musicale is a non-profit organization that was established here in Jacksonville, FL. in 1890. We have been at our current location at 645 Oak Street since 1929. We offer two unique venues that sit side by side to each other in the Riverside Area of Jacklsonville – The Auditorium and L’Engle Hall. When you rent one of our venues, you are helping to fund various programs that we offer that further music education and awareness to children – such as our College Scholarship Program, Community Outreach to local schools, music competitions and our Free Annual Concert Series. When you host your event at Friday Musicale, you are paying it forward to the community of Jacksonville.Facilities and CapacityFriday Musicale has two indoor venues that sit side by side. They can be used independantly or together. The Auditorium is the largest venue. It can hold 240 seated theatre style (no tables) or 150 reception style (tables and chairs). L’Engle Hall can hold 150 seated theatre style or 90 reception style.Services OfferedFriday Musicale will make sure that your event ends on a high note. To do this, they offer services such as:
Setup – Tables and Chairs based on agreed floor plan.
Cleanup – Friday Musicale will Strike Tables and Chairs.
Event Planning Service – Our Venue Director has been in the industry for more then 25 years!
Lighting – Existing Auditorium Lighting – Chandeliers, Recessed Can Lights, Spot Lights – all on dimmer switch.
Tables – Selection of tables for Dinner Guests, Buffet & Bar Set Up, Wedding Cake, Sweetheart Table, etc.
Chairs – Ballroom Chairs in Auditorium / Tan folding Metal Chairs in L’Engle Hall.
Kitchen Access – Ample Work Space, Household Appliances, Easy Access.
Private Event Security Included at All Social Events.
