HistoryThis 20-room mansion was built in 1925 by the community?s founder, William J. Howey. Five years prior, Howey purchased 60,000 acres in central Florida and founded the town that bore his name. Designed by Katherine Cotheal Budd, the home has a Mediterranean Revival vibe to it.
