Originally built in 1917, Fort Lauderdale Woman’s Club has undergone recent renovations to lovingly restore the property to its former glory. This majestic venue was originally designed by Miami architect, August Geiger, in the Mediterranean Revival style which is still evident today. For an outdoor ceremony, the club provides its scenic garden area. The garden features luscious greenery and a gazebo which provides a natural focal point for your ceremony. Seating for your service can be set out on the well-maintained lawn and sets the scene for a romantic outdoor vow exchange. Indoors, an anteroom can serve as an ideal cocktail hour space before transitioning to the main reception room. The centerpiece of the main room is undoubtedly the restored stone fireplace which can be decorated to reflect your wedding color scheme and theme. Large picture windows allow natural light to brighten your celebration and offer picturesque views of the garden area. The main room can comfortably accommodate up to 130 guests for your special occasion. A catering kitchen is also located on-site, facilitating speedy service for your reception dinner. The property features Dade-County pine flooring throughout and spacious restrooms double as get-ready rooms for your event. Parking is available at the City of Fort Lauderdale County Lot, with group rates available upon request.
