The Venue at 400 North Ervay offers three unique and sophisticated event spaces in the heart of downtown Dallas. The luxurious Court Room is the perfect location for a rehearsal dinner or wedding reception, it can accommodate 150 seated guests or 200 for a cocktail style reception. The room features hand-carved wood wainscoting, restored French painted ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the space with an abundance of natural light. Their outdoor Rooftop Garden is suitable for smaller affairs such as an intimate dinner, cocktail party or wedding reception. The rooftop provides spectacular views of the Dallas skyline and features beautiful water features and gardens. The largest of the event spaces, The Grande Hall, can accommodate 200 seated guests or 300 for a stand-up cocktail party. This light and airy hall is rich with historic character and charm and features hand-painted fresco ceilings and marble walls. The Grande Hall is on the first floor with easy access to street level parking.

History
The Venue at 400 North Ervay is located in the historic U.S. Post Office and Courthouse building which was opened in November 1930. Over the years the building has served as home to 40 Federal bureaus and agencies, two United States District Courts and two District Judges and in the 1980s the building was renovated for the Postal Service. In 2011 redevelopment of the upper levels into residential apartment commenced and the rooftop terrace was added to the building. The building still retains an operating post office on the ground floor.
