    Facilities and Capacity
    Chicago Cultural Center offers an array of beautifully designed and decorated spaces ideal for hosting a variety of wedding events including ceremonies and receptions.
    The GAR Hall and Rotunda is an impressive palatial hall which was originally dedicated to the Grand Army of the Republic to honor veterans of the Civil War. This spectacular space features a high coffered ceiling with a giant stained-glass dome at its center. Large windows throughout the room provide impressive views. The hall offers seating space for up to 220 guests or 550 for a cocktail reception.
    The Sidney R Yates Gallery is the largest event room within this magnificent building, spanning nearly half a city block. This room is ornately decorated with renaissance ornamentation and floor-to-ceiling windows, capable of accommodating 420 guests for a seated reception or up to 800 guests for a cocktail reception.
    The crown jewel of the Chicago Cultural Center is undoubtedly the Preston Bradley Hall which is home to the world?s largest Tiffany stained-glass dome and is accompanied by an additional 25 Tiffany glass chandeliers throughout the hall. This room provides beautiful views of the Millenium Park which is conveniently located just across the street from this property. The Preston Bradley Hall can comfortably seat 320 guests or a cocktail reception of 700.
    For a more intimate wedding event, this venue provides the Millenium Park Room with space for 80 seated guests or 100 standing. This room provides breathtaking panoramic views of many of the Millennium Park?s well-known attractions including the Cloud Gate and Pritzker Pavilion.

    Chicago Cultural Center offers a comprehensive wedding package which includes six hours of event time, room rental, building security, two off-duty Chicago police officers, an event staff member, and more. Couples can choose to upgrade their chair choice for the venue or hire the optional AV and lighting services offered. This venue can provide an extensive list of preferred catering services to cater your event, all of which are fully licensed and insured.

    History
    The building of the Chicago Cultural Center was completed in 1897 and opened as Chicago?s first central public library. An array of the finest materials were used to build this expansive property including rare imported marble, various high-quality hardwoods, mother-of-pearl mosaics, and polished brass. The country?s top craftsmen and architects worked tirelessly to create this masterpiece of grandeur and architecture, which can now be used to host the wedding celebration of your dreams.
