The Mid-America Club is a ballroom wedding venue that is located in Chicago, Illinois. This elegant and timeless destination allows couples to personalize their event space to meet their needs, unique style and vision. Located on the 80th floor of the Aon Center, in Chicago’s East Loop the Burnham Ballroom overlooks Chicago?s front yard including Millennium/Grant Parks, The Bean, Willis Tower, Navy Pier and Lake Michigan. The building is connected via underground walk-way to the Fairmont Hotel.Facilities and Capacity With a maximum capacity of 500 guests, this venue offers elegance and scenic views to all who step through the doors. The main space in the Burnham Ballroom includes windows facing the south, east, and west. Couples and guests can spend time gazing at the Parks, the downtown cityscape and Lake Michigan. Inside the ballroom, five large round chandeliers glow overhead while classic decor allows couples to customize the event space. The dedicated cocktail hour space encompasses North facing views of the iconic John Hancock Building and Michigan avenue. Additional smaller rooms are provided for the wedding party to utilize throughout the event.
Services Offered The Mid-America Club staff meets couples? needs before and during their wedding celebration. The venue offers couples a ?one-stop-shop? experience and includes a day-of Wedding coordinator to assist through the planning process. Parking is available on-site at the venue for guests.
Cuisine With full in-house bar services and delicious catering options, couples can worry less about planning and more about enjoying their special night. The Club?s Executive Chef, Michael Pivoney has been serving the Club, Members and guests for over 10 years. Couples will also be able to benefit from desserts, a cocktail reception, and tasting at the Club as well as our preferred bakery, Bittersweet.
Other Services This venue is available to host a myriad of functions. Some of these include engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, and bridal showers. Other events such as farewell parties, receptions, and ceremonies can also be held in many of the Club?s unique private spaces.
