The Bard Mansion is a beautifully restored over 100 years old historic mansion with romantic views and antique charm. The mansion is located on Naval Base Ventura, Port Hueneme and was built by Senator Thomas Bard for his wife Mollie and their 8 children. The classically elegant ballroom, plush oak bar, antique library, grand foyer, beautiful outdoors gardens, and sparkling chandeliers create the ideal venue for any event. The main ballroom at the mansion can hold up to 150 people and the garden gazebo area is a perfect ceremony space.
This venue includes all tables, chairs, built-in bar, dancefloor, linens and on-site catering including service staff. The ballroom does feature a small stage area that is perfect for a band or head table. All the rooms are handsomely dressed with stained wood paneling, velvet draped windows and photos of the family who used to reside there.
