Asilomar Hotel and Conference Grounds, also known as the Refuge by the Sea, is a unique and historic wedding venue located on the Monterey Peninsula in Pacific Grove, California. Asilomar offers both indoor and outdoor sites for your ceremony and reception, with outstanding views of the Pacific Ocean. Asilomar is an expansive California State Park. The ceremony site, reception site, and lodging are all located together on our 107 acre property. This eliminates driving from place to place and makes for a wonderful stress-free event for both you and your guests. Asilomar State Beach – a gorgeous stretch of soft, sandy beach, featuring rocky coves and beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. It?s ideal for outdoor ceremonies.
Grand Cypress Meadow – features majestic, Monterey Cypress trees and an abundance of native California flora. It?s the perfect place to exchange your vows.
Surf & Sand Dining Room – boasts a large fireplace, wraparound deck and big windows. It can accommodate up to 32 guests for an intimate affair.
Seascape Dining Room – boasts stone columns, floor-to-ceiling windows and a large wraparound deck. It?s great for an indoor/outdoor celebration.
