Burrell School Vineyards is a winery, wedding reception, rehearsal dinner venue in Los Gatos, California. The estate encompasses vine fields of chardonnay, pinot noir, and merlot, facing the southwest. Couples may plan a private event on the estate, designed specifically to fit their vision. With spectacular views of the canyons and ridges of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Burrell School Vineyards offers a secluded experience for guests.
Facilities and Capacity
Burrell School Vineyards houses both indoor and outdoor event spaces for couples to host their event. Being a more intimate venue, the maximum amount of guests they can accommodate is 100. The Vineyard Gazebo and Rose Garden is an intimate outdoor space surrounded by vine fields and accommodates up to 60 guests and the Veranda over looking the Santa Cruz Mountains can hold up to 50. If you are wishing to have your event indoors, they offer the Barrel Room which accommodates up to 30 guests or in the Old Historic Schoolhouse offers space for 50 people. Couples may choose to upgrade their packages to include transportation to and from the winery, hor d?oeuvres, cellar wines, dinner, and/or a bottle of wine for each guest to take home.
History
The original date of the Burrell School dates back to 1854 from settler Lyman J. Burrell. Carrying on the tradition, David and Anne Moulton developed the estate vineyard in 1973. The microclimate makes it perfect to grow grapes and harvest them to create some of best wines.
