Founded in 1883, we are California?s premier wine country destination and the standard by which the event industry measures the best of the best.
Our event staff boasts decades of experience and can handle anything that may come our way. Celebrating nearly two decades with Wente, our executive chef Jeff Farlow produces top quality cuisine paired with our exquisite wines and an unmatched level of service. Our coordinators have each been part of the Wente family for years, giving our clients the confidence they deserve that their events are in expert hands at all times.
A Wente Vineyards wedding is a full-service affair, as we provide nearly everything you will need for the ultimate in convenience and quality, including the use of our venue for your ceremony when you book a reception, for no additional charge.
Our partners represent the best creative professionals in their fields and are committed to working with us to design a custom experience for every one of our couples. Simply select your own florist, entertainer, photographer and officiant and we?ll take care of the rest.
We pride ourselves on producing stress-free, top-quality events delivered with our world-famous hospitality. Destination couples, in particular, can take comfort in knowing that our on-site coordination team has every detail under control and is happy to work virtually to ensure that everything falls exactly in to place.
The Cuisine
Celebrated as one of California?s premier wine country destinations, Wente Vineyrds blends traditional and innovative winemaking practice to create a remarkable selection of wines for couples to select for their Big Day.
Wente menus, created with our portfolio of wines in mind, are restaurant-quality and served fresh. Our executive chef regularly reviews and curates our selections so they represent both traditional, signature favorites and new, innovative ingredients and techniques. He is happy to customize concepts on request and is well-versed in the intricacies of menus from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, including Mediterranean-inspired dishes and scratch-based Indian menus.
Of course, as a vineyard, our award-winning wines are at the heart of all of our menus and we provide pairing suggestions for every entre. We will gladly offer recommendations, yet we are absolutely willing to prioritize personal preference in our final wine recommendations. Many of our couples come back year after year, especially on anniversaries, to enjoy the wines they served on their wedding days.

What It Means to Be a Wente Couple
Once you have booked your wedding, we will plan an initial ?idea factory? session to discuss your vision and priorities. We will begin working on your menu, start the process of obtaining quotes that you may need, and answer all of your initial questions.
Next, we will present your estimates, finalize your menus and select wine pairings. You will meet with our talented pastry department to discuss your cake design and sample a variety of flavors, including many that are wine-inspired.
We conduct group menu tastings tapas-style. Chef Jeff is on-hand to answer your menu-related questions and the Tasting Room is open so you can discuss your wine pairings.
Our coordination team will guide you through the rest of the planning process anticipating your needs whenever possible. We will assist you with personal touches and keep everyone involved in the day organized and relaxed. You can actually enjoy your celebration knowing that from set up to pack out, our team has everything under control.
