HistoryBuilt in 1867, this California Historical Landmark was the first non-native dwelling built in Crockett. In the early 1880s, the Edwards family sold the portion of their property where this venue now stands for the purpose of building a flour mill. The Old Homestead was renovated in 1953 and operated as a meeting place for community events. The integrity of this extraordinary home has been lovingly preserved through the years and is currently maintained and operated by the Carquinez Women?s Club.LocationThe Old Homestead is located in the city of Crocket near the Carquinez Strait, in the intersection of the San Pablo Bay, Grizzly Bay and Suisun Bay.
