Stepladder Ranch & Creamery is a private ranch and wedding venue in the heart of the Central Coast. The ranch is a perfect destination for your weekend wedding retreat, offering exceptional accommodations for you and your guests (up to 24 overnight guests) and a scenic backdrop for your celebration. Stepladder Ranch is situated on a 750-acre historic ranch with a goat creamery and avocado farm. They even offer tours of their goat farm and cheese facility on the property. Weddings at the ranch include access to two beautiful vacation homes, making it perfect for a weekend wedding retreat. The Big House can accommodate sixteen guests and the Vista House can sleep eight guests. The ceremony site offers ocean views and the Quonset Hut (barn) is the perfect place for indoor receptions and dancing. The venue can accommodate parties up to 100-120 people due to the rural access of the roads – all locations are within a six minute walk.

Venue-Specific Important Things to Note
We require shuttles to be provided by the couple for all guests not staying in the homes overnight (to beach parking, downtown Cambria or nearby hotels). Most weddings of 50-100 guests require 2-3 shuttles (14-passenger vans).
All vendors must provide day-of insurance. You may bring in your own alcohol as long as it is monitored by a bartender.
Due to the county-wide sound ordinance, all amplified music must end at 10:00 pm.
We require an on-site wedding coordinator
Our setting is rural and has dirt roads and unpaved areas. Stepladder Ranch is a working farm with many animals (cows, goats, pigs and more). Be prepared for a beautiful, rustic, ranch setting.
Extend your retreat with additional nights at $1000/night for both homes!
The couple will need to rent chairs, tables and other decorations from a local rental company – listed in preferred vendors.
