It was then purchased by Joe Clayton to use as a local feed store and a holding station for cattle who were loaded on railroad cars and shipped to the Fort Worth Stockyards to sale. After the feed store closed, the barn was vacant for many years until Wade and Susan had Randy Martin (star on Texas Flip and Move) relocate the barn to their home place just down the road on the top of a hill, and it became the Texas Tumbleweed Barn at Painted Lakes.
