Facilities and Capacity
This lovely, fully restored Victorian-era home features high ceilings, period furnishings, hardwood floors, steep gables, intricate detailing and massive stone masonry ornamentation. A graceful, curved staircase allows for memorable entrances into a grand parlor. Formal reception rooms are accented by tall archways and columns, and flow into the elegant dining room, sunroom and restored 1920’s ballroom. Many rooms feature grand pianos, antique crystal chandeliers and fireplaces. A covered veranda provides an outdoor space for ceremonies, cocktail hours or photos.

The Wimbish House offers venue rental for weddings and other social events. This venue allows you to bring in your own outside caterer, vendors and alcohol to create an event that matches your vision. History
This Wimbish House was commissioned by prominent Atlanta attorney William A. Wimbish and designed by notable Atlanta architect W.T. Downing. Downing later designed many of Atlanta?s most prestigious public buildings, including The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Trinity United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church and Lupton Hall at Oglethorpe University. Designed in the eclectic French Renaissance Revival, or Chateauesque style, this Victorian-era home has been lovingly restored and designated as a city, state and national landmark.
