Looking for a venue that?s fun and playful? A place with historic elegance that?s also contemporary and cool? Then look no further! The Children?s Museum of Phoenix isn?t just for children; it?s for the child in all of us. This is the kind of place where you?ll rediscover a sense of wonder, where even your most serious and hard-to-please guests will say “Wow! This place is awesome! I can?t believe I?ve never been here!”
When it opened in 2008, the Museum breathed new life into the historic century-old Monroe School building at 7th Street and Van Buren. Originally built in 1913, this grand building has been lovingly restored to its original beauty. But step inside and you?ll discover an eclectic creative space with an artistic urban feel that will entertain, delight, and inspire you to think outside the box.
With free parking for 250 cars and three floors of exhibit space, this unique facility can accommodate any type of gathering, from formal sit-down dinners and cocktail parties to themed birthday bashes and proms. And don?t worry about a bunch of kids running around your event. Our normal operating day ends at 4:00, leaving plenty of evening hours for you to wine, dine, and have a great time! Take a look for yourself and you?ll find that the Children?s Museum of Phoenix is a spectacular venue that truly puts the “Special” in your “Special Event”.
