The Pearl Stable provides a uniquely elegant site for weddings, social occasions and business events. With an intriguing history as the former home for the Pearl Brewery’s draft horses in the late 19th century, The Stable has been meticulously renovated to preserve the charm and integrity of the original structure while providing state-of-the-art lighting, sound, and communication technologies for weddings, receptions, entertainment and other events.
Its oval shape provides over 5,000 square feet of central space and an additional 1800 square feet of foyer and gallery space that features two built-in bars and opens to two large courtyards on the east and south sides of the Stable. The mezzanine is punctuated by a row of square windows and crowned by a glazed cupola and nine-foot bronze chandeliers. The Entry Courtyard and Gallery Courtyard provide 20,000 square feet of outdoor event space.
Pearl, located north of downtown San Antonio, provides a unique experience as a top culinary and cultural destination. The mixed-use space features retail, dining, picturesque green spaces, a riverside amphitheater, and the third campus of The Culinary Institute of America. As a former brewery operating from 1883 to 2001, Pearl reflects a vivid past while embracing the future with environmentally sustainable buildings mixed with historic architecture.
The 22-acre Pearl site is home to The Culinary Institute of America, San Antonio, the year-round Pearl Farmers Market, Hotel Emma and its restaurant Supper.
Facilities and CapacityThe Stable seats up to 350 with a dance floor. This uniquely round building features exposed brick walls, a grand staircase descending from the second level and a stage perfect for any band or DJ.
