Kathy Hunt, who serves as each couple?s bridal consultant, has been closely involved in the wedding industry for many years. Kathy and Mark began serving the bridal industry many years ago as a young married couple helping Kathy’s mom who was a caterer and bridal consultant in Houston. Along with her family, Kathy has gained a great deal of experience as not only a bridal consultant, but also as a baker. On this tranquil property brimming with 80′ tall shade trees, 2 creeks, wildlife and natural beauty, couples will receive her assistance as they plan a romantic bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. Facilities and CapacityAt Chateau on the Creek, couples are able to exchange their vows in the romantic gazebo or at the fireplace patio shaded by a 200+ year old live oak tree covered with twinkle lights. The park like grounds are flocked by century-old oak and native pecan trees, adding plenty of history and charm to your ceremony. The lawn area is also perfect for outdoor ceremonies. Our couples also have use of the bridal suite with private restroom and the groom’s suite. After the wedding is over, you and your guests can move into the indoor climate controlled arched reception area to spend time with family & friends celebrating your new marriage. This property even includes an outdoor fireplace flanked by two waterfalls, a fire pit and an outdoor bar crafted from cedar and exotic woods so you can enjoy the beautiful outdoor area for your reception and cocktail hour. This beautiful venue can accommodate up to 150 of your friends and family. Sometimes brides forget about, what happens if it rains, turns cold and windy or is an extremely hot and humid day! Our dance floor and venue are indoors and are heated/air conditioned so that everyone is comfortable, even out on the dance floor. If it rains, we can move the wedding indoors in front of the 14′ stone fireplace.
