Strawberry Pines is located in Poteet Texas, 30 minutes south of San Antonio, providing couples with a peaceful setting for both their ceremony and reception.Facilities and CapacityCouples can lodge up to 30 of their closest family and friends for the weekend and host up to 250 guests for their ceremony and reception. You can exchange your vows or dance the night away in their century-old barn. They also offer an expansive lawn for outdoor celebrations.     Accommodation Strawberry Pines features three homes that have been lovingly restored. The 1940?s rock bungalow and cozy cabin, that comes with a game room, are both nestled in between towering pine trees. Their spacious ranch house sits on a hill under grand oaks, and sleeps 16 guests.Other Services In addition to hosting large weddings, Strawberry Pines will also host intimate elopements.     History When Darlene and Woode Henry acquired this historic property, they knew right away they wanted to bring it back to life. Their hope was for it to be a place of relaxation and celebration. They named the working cattle ranch “Strawberry Pines” after seeing the pink sunset through the pine trees.
