Sisterdale Dancehall is a rustic, historical wedding venue located in Sisterdale, Texas. Couples will experience 360-year-old oak trees and the West Sister Creek on this picturesque property in Texas Hill Country. Their dancehall was built in the late 1800s, and has been providing the community with music for more than a century. Sisterdale Dancehall can accommodate both intimate ceremonies and grand receptions at their vintage-style venue.Facilities and Capacity Couples can accommodate up to 250 guests at this historical dancehall. It features wood ceilings, a weathered tin roof and original wood floors made from 300-year-old longleaf pines. It?s 100 percent climate controlled so you can celebrate regardless of the weather. For your ceremony, you can get married outdoors under their canopy of oak trees on their creek. They will provide a burlap aisle runner, and either a wrought iron or wooden arbor for you to exchange your vows under.Services Offered This venue offers event services to make sure your day runs smoothly. They offer each couple three hours the day before the ceremony for rehersal and set-up and for ceremony day, 10am to 12am. Additional services available are:

History This venue was built between 1867 and 1884. Permanent settlement on the property dates back to the mid 1800s, and the stone block fort predates the Civil War. Besides being a dancehall, this unique property was also an opera house and community center. Eventually it became a full-time dancehall and, through recent years, has served as a movie location, hosted a Bud Light commercial and was featured in the hit song, Red Dirt Road.
