The Riley is a customizable urban banquet hall venue located in Austin, Texas. This establishment?s current story began with Thomas C. Calhoon?s real estate ventures that began back in 1976. After purchasing and maintaining two properties from a young age, Thomas bought what is now The Riley in 1998. Through agreements with his business partner, the building was transformed through trade, producing the number one and two Peyton Riley. The nomenclature was derived from Thomas? daughter and the two purchased spaces combine to form The Riley.
    Facilities and Capacity
This establishment offers a chic and industrial environment for hosts to make use of. The interior is divided into separate areas, creating unique social spaces across its layout. Large windows frame views of city life, elevating the urban appeal of the venue. Beams and exposed piping create a modern aesthetic, complemented by concrete floors and a wide, open floor plan. This venue presents the ideal canvas for a custom-created event, allowing clients to curate a look that perfectly suits their theme.
    Services Offered
The Riley has a number of rentals available to clients. These include tables, chairs, linens, and more. The facility comes with overhead LED lights that can be dimmed to clients? preferences. Surround sound speakers are also present on both levels of the building. Outside, there is another set of LED lights that may be set to different colors based on the couples? themes. In order to ensure that the music played at an occasion maintains the most ideal quality, The Riley has installed soundboards on the ceiling of the main hall. Audiovisual equipment can be provided on request and a door host must be present at the time of the event. Should soon-to-be-weds wish to have a valet service, this may be coordinated with the venue. Custom branding may be accommodated. For further information about venue rentals, packages, and service bundles, potential clients are encouraged to reach out to the event director with their inquiries.
