    The Arlington Music Hall has a rich history and always been ?the place to go? for entertainment. Opening in 1950 as a movie theatre, the feature film ?Sea Biscuit? starring Shirley Temple. The movie premier was followed by a memorable on stage performance by a local band ?The Flying Ranch Hands? who later became known as ?The Light Crust Dough Boys?.
    Today, our Marquee Sign and a remnant of the original curtain, displayed in the hospitality room, are tributes to the history of this great venue.
    In 1994, Johnnie High, a singer, musician, songwriter and businessman purchased the Theatre to relocate the Johnnie High?s Country Music Revue. The Johnnie High?s Country Music Revue was a weekly variety show to showcase local talent; Old and young.
    Over the years, Johnnie High?s Country Music Revue opened the door for many famous people such as LeAnn Rimes, Lee Ann Womack, Shoji Tabuchi, Blake Shelton, Gary Morris, Box Car Willie, Wanda Jackson, Kitty Wells, and many others
    After 31 years, Johnnie High?s Country Music Revue shuttered. The Music Hall was purchased and renovated in 2009 by Burk Collins, a local developer and country music fan. This acquisition played a significant role to continue the history of the Music Hall ? along with the revitalization of Downtown Arlington.
    More than $6M of capital was paid to renovate the Music Hall and re-development Center Street, adding popular restaurants such as Babe?s Chicken Dinner House.
    The Burk Collins Country Music Revue continued thru 2015 providing a permanent place for the weekly country music show while hosting country music legends from Willie Nelson to Loretta Lynn.
    In 2015, a group of local business owners lead by Cary Moon purchased the Arlington Music Hall complex.
    Renovations in 2015 and 2018 make the Music Hall a comfortable venue to sit comfortably and enjoy a quality listening experience.
    A non-profit 501c3 promotes the concerts, and brings top artist to Arlington year-round. It is our pleasure to welcome you and we hope that you enjoy your live entertainment experience at The Arlington Music Hall.
