Throughout its rich history, the facility has hosted many notable guests, including including Dwight D. Eisenhower, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Bing Crosby. The mansion was purchased in 1935 by IBM, and two years later the 18-hole course was built. It closed 60 years later, in 1995, and sat vacant until it was purchased in 2004. It was renovated and expanded to the beautiful facility it is today.
