The Overlook Lodge is perched up on the mountains with a breathtaking view of Hessian Lake and the Hudson River. The Merry Go Round is a beautiful, unique, and whimsical venue to host your most special day.
Facilities and Capacity
We have three separate venues located in the Bear Mountain State Park. The Bear Mountain Inn (125 guests – 250 guests), The Overlook Lodge (75 guests – 125 guests) and The Merry Go Round (75 guests – 115 guests).
The Bear Mountain Inn overlooks the shores of Hessian Lake. Couples can use the Hickory Terrace for a scenic outdoor ceremony. The Appalachian Ballroom is perfect for your cocktail hour. Host your event in the Perkins Ballroom for a memorable reception. All of these gorgeous spaces accommodate up to 250 guests.
The Overlook Lodge is an elegant and rustic space that accommodates up to 125 guests and features unforgettable views of the Hudson River, Hessian Lake and the mountainside. The wedding ceremony can be held outside on the patio or inside the ballroom during winter months.
Merry Go Round Pavilion is a stone and timber rotunda with a classic indoor merry-go-round and dance floor as its centerpiece. This space comfortably seating 115 guests.
