Couples can choose the historic venue of Lemp Mansion to host their wedding in Saint Louis, Missouri. The pet-friendly venue was once home to the Lemp family, who made their fortune as some of the first brewers in Saint Louis. The 33-room mansion was already impressive when bought, but William J. Lemp turned it into a true Victorian showplace using his brewery fortune. Now, the mansion offers exceptional dining, overnight accommodations, and event space for couples and their guests.
Facilities and Capacity
The venue allows couples spaces such as the gazebo and patio, grand hall, or Lemp??s loft to hold their wedding ceremony, reception, bridal shower, engagement party, or rehearsal dinner. The gazebo and patio make up a large, private area surrounded by black wrought-iron fencing, perfect for a ceremony, reception, or both. Couples may choose to pair the gazebo space with the tented patio to create a sophisticated, secluded garden setting. Lemp??s Grand Hall features original hard maple floors, large bar, historic decor, and a deck that overlooks the Lemp Brewery. Lemp??s loft is a unique, historic space that used to be the hayloft for Percheron horses, and has been renovated to accommodate private special occasions. Couples may invite up to 275 of their closest friends and family, who may use the venue??s parking and wheelchair access when attending the event.
Services Offered
Lemp Mansion is covered by liability insurance for each of their events, and can assist couples by providing an event planner as well as all-inclusive packages for their occasion. Venue staff is on hand to help set up and clean up, while the wedding party dresses in their own private get-ready rooms. While they can provide catering, Lemp Mansion does allow couples to bring their own outside vendors for particular wedding needs, such as florals, outside cake, or photography.
