Democracy Brewing is a unique event venue that is located in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2018, they opened their doors in the heart of Downtown Crossing, allowing private events to take place in their rustic-inspired space that pays homage to old-world pubs and wooden artistry. Co-founders James Razsa and Jason Taggart were passionate about opening up a community space for people to gather, drink, and truly enjoy their time. That vision came to life with Democracy Brewing, where there are multiple rooms available for hosting a variety of occasions.
Facilities and Capacity
Democracy Brewing is able to accommodate 25 to 200 people in each of their rentable spaces. There is also a kitchen on site where your food is created from scratch.

Bobby O’Shea is the head chef at Democracy Brewing. With 14 years of restaurant involvement, he knows how to deliver quality dishes and pleasant experiences. His food is inspired by locally-sourced produce and zero-waste mentalities. The event menu that is curated for private events ranges from a selection of appetizers and buffet options to a seated three-course meal. The food served is hearty and filling, finely-tuned to compliment the beers that are brewed on-site. Their taps rotate to present guests with a variety of styles and brews.
