Gallery Forty Two is Indianapolis? oldest-surviving commercial building dating back to before the Civil War, and has been recently renovated to reflect modern designs while still honoring the fine art traditions of the 19th and early 20th centuries.Facilities and CapacityThere are two indoor event rooms for you to choose from in the historic building. Gallery Forty Two features two floors and a total of 3,500 square feet of entertainment space. 120 or fewer of your loved ones can be comfortably accommodated, and WiFi is provided to connect to those who are far away. Up on the third floor, there is a get-ready suite that can be utilized by wedding parties for preparations. The facility is two blocks from Monument Circle, and has multiple parking options available. Gallery Forty Two is wheelchair accessible. You and your partner are welcome to host your ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, and engagement party in the space. The facility offers you the unique opportunity to curate your wedding by selecting from their inventory of fine art to create the wedding aesthetic you desire. Gallery Forty Two features a built-in A/V system, an adjustable lighting system, a 12-foot drop-down projector screen, and a wireless microphone available for your use. The on-site staff is happy to handle the set up and clean up of the wedding so that you can relax. Proof of liability insurance can be provided upon request.
