Southern Exchange Ballrooms, a wedding venue located in Atlanta, Georgia, seamlessly combines history with modern elegance. This dazzling space was designed by Philip Shutze. It opened its doors in 1927 right in the downtown area of the city. Now, couples can experience the glamour of this premier venue on their wedding day. You and your wedding party will also be conveniently located near many hotels that you can stay in after the ceremony and reception are over.
Facilities and Capacity
The Southern Exchange Ballrooms features enough space for you to celebrate your wedding day with up to 800 of your friends and family. The entire venue encompasses over 110,000 square feet of space. Couples can choose from a variety of rooms found throughout the interior. The Whitehall Ballroom gives you a glamorous backdrop with its tall ceilings, chandeliers, and marble tile floors. For a unique touch, this space can even accommodate display vehicles. The Davison Ballroom, which also features a vehicle showroom, is quite spacious with a total of 20,000 square feet. Here you will be dazzled by the down-lighting, which is built into the columns throughout this space. For a bit more of a rustic touch, you can choose the Grant Loft site. Here, your wedding party will be surrounded by exposed brick and a concrete floor. Similarly, the Cellar site also adds a stylish industrial backdrop. This space features three separated spaces that your wedding party can use. Couples are also able to use the Augusta Conference Center or the hospitality suite.

Certified Master Chef Rich Rosendale has partnered with Southern Exchange as the exclusive in-house catering. Rosendale Events provides a high-end culinary experience made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Rich Rosedale is an American Celebrity Chef with over 25 years of elite industry experience and is also one of only 72 Master Chefs in the United States. Chef Rosendale has won more than 50 National & International culinary competitions. He takes pride in his ability to cook anything well. This translates into his ability to customize menus for memorable culinary experiences, whether they are exclusive, fine-dining, or casual. The Chef?s attention to detail and extreme organization skills are the reason his events are so successful. Culinary Action Stations & Plated events are all artistically presented & always beautiful. He has years of experience cooking for 50 – 5000, and is looked up to by his peers for his talent, consistency, & results.
