Grace River Island Resort is a quiet, private island on the Caloosahatchee River in Fort Myers, Florida accessible via a land bridge giving the appearance of a peninsula. The resort is a luxurious venue for local or destination weddings, rehearsal dinners, and honeymoons. The island has a large house, a clubhouse, swimming pool, hot tub, a 2000 square foot deck, and two private Gazebos. It is a beautiful, serene, outdoor venue with many options for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.
Facilities and Capacity
Grace River Island Resort is ideal for couples who have been dreaming about a small outdoor wedding ceremony (limited to 100 guests). The venue has many options, a large grassy turf that overlooks the water and has the sun setting over the river. There is a large deck that can be used for the ceremony as well. Depending on where the ceremony is, the reception can also be either on the grassy point, on the deck, or in the clubhouse. To make preparations, the bride has a bridal suite available where she can dress along with her bridesmaids. There is also a guys hang out room for them to get ready as well. There is a kitchen available for the caterer to make final preparations before serving up the meal. For small weddings, if the weather is not cooperative, there is a clubhouse that the ceremony or reception can be moved to.
