Our business started when my dad inherited the Hasty Heart, a 61′ Swan sailboat, from his former boss & beloved family friend, Hart Smith. My dad, Rick, was Hart’s private captain for a succession of sailboats, all named Hasty Heart. Dad sailed with Hart and his guests evey weekend on the SF Bay, unless they were in Mexico or Hawaii enjoying the Hasty Heart. Hart was a generous man and my family enjoyed many vacations aboard Hasty Heart when he was on shore. We are thankful to have the Hasty Heart in our lives and started a charter business to share our beautiful sailboat and love of sailing with others.
