The history of the Merchants Exchange Club is essentially the history of the eponymous Merchants Exchange building, located in the heart of San Francisco’s financial district, which has been a center for the City’s civic, economic, political, and cultural life for over 100 years. Although the Merchants Exchange Club is our newer premium venue, it boasts its own 100 year history. Completely renovated in 2013, the Club is an unparalleled space for celebrations, featuring flexible room configurations, state-of-the-art technological amenities and sumptuous, expertly designed interiors.
Our Director of Weddings, Lillian Phan, is one of California’s most sought-after wedding and social event specialists. Lillian’s unique background producing some of San Francisco’s greatest gala’s allow her to execute every detail of planning and production with style and grace while realizing the creative vision of each individual bride and groom.
