The Point and Tower Beach Club are located on Mission Bay in San Diego, California that serves clients in the La Jolla, Coronado, and Carlsbad regions. This premier destination provides couples with a true Southern California experience. They hold a belief that weddings should be done the way a client desires, with an open vendor policy, flexible late-night hours or the option to add packages that make planning easy. The Point’s experience coordinators will help couples host a wedding that matches their waterfront dreams.
There are 2 options for receptions and one epic waterfront ceremony spot in front of the iconic 4 palm trees on Mission Bay. Whether couples are looking for a casual or formal affair, the spaces offer flexible solutions that cover a variety of needs.
Facilities and Capacity
The Point offers a combined total of 4,000 square feet of private event space. Couples are able to host up to 120 guests seated in our Bay Room or 200 cocktail style with a mix of high tops and seating. The Point offers a tech-forward space that uses high-resolution flat screens for custom digital signage and personalized photos. It comes equipped with sustainably sourced raw wood tables from the local wildfires, live plants, lounge furniture, and white resin folding chairs. A 1,000-square-foot private outdoor garden is included that contains market lights, shade sails, fire pits, and games.
Tower Beach Club provides an expansive 2,500 sq foot waterfront deck and 1800 sq foot interior with collapsable connecting doors creating an indoor/outdoor reception space. This space comes with seating up to 120 with round tables (10 per table), high top tables with bar height chairs and a double-sided bar. The Tower Deck comes equipped with shade sails and market lights, creating the most epic of sunset views on Mission Bay. Weekend bookings in the summer and fall come inclusive of a private 2 stall restroom trailer.

Services Offered The Point offers a variety of services and amenities to wedding couples and their loved ones. Services extend to wedding ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, elopements, and rehearsal dinners. There is an open vendor policy as well as a list of preferred vendors to work directly with that can be shared after booking. If couples are interested in a custom proposal, inclusive of vendors, one can be requested that includes bar service, food, DJ, photobooth, florals and day of coordinator for a 17% service fee.

The corner that encompasses a rope wall and the mustard lounge furniture has been turned into a bit of storage, including the area directly behind the projector. Those equipment rental items are still included in the package, the square footage in that corner has just been minimized a small amount!
