The Romanesque Room is a wedding venue located in Pasadena, California. The venue?s premises is a Pasadena Historic Monument and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Formerly part of the Hotel Green, the building was constructed by George Gill Green in 1893. In its heyday, the Hotel Green was regarded as one of Pasadena?s great social centers. Today, much of its former grandeur has been restored, and the ballroom and kitchen continue to be the toast of happy couples all over the country.
Facilities and Capacity
The spacious ballroom is the pride and joy of the Romanesque Room. Able to accommodate up to 250 guests, this elegant space features a vaulted ceiling and columns with finely carved capitals. The room is covered in a green carpet, patterned with a floral fan design. In the middle of the space, there is a raised wooden dance floor. One edge of the dance floor borders the dais. On the dais, a large rectangular table waits to welcome the happy couple to dinner. The large outdoor patio area offers an excellent spot in which to enjoy cocktails and delicious hors d?oeuvres. It features white couches and a number of black and white side tables. The patio furniture can also be cleared to make room for a sunny outdoor wedding.
