Have your affordable wedding in a historic setting with Mt. Shasta as a backdrop. We have had many wonderful weddings at Shasta Starr Ranch B & B and would love to have yours. Most of our weddings and receptions have taken place during the summer months when the weather is perfect for outdoor events. And we have facilities indoors that are perfect when the weather isn?t quite perfect. There?s a long stairway coming out of the main house which is ideal for the bride?s entrance down to our terraced lawns where the wedding party usually sets up an alter.
Most of our weddings and receptions are under 80 guests with buffets or sit down dinners catered by one of our many delectable local restaurants. A few ambitious brides did all their own cooking and we?ve also had potlucks. Our 4 acres and spacious large main house were built in 1923 as part of a thoroughbred horse ranch and still maintain a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.
We also offer lodging, perfect for the bride and groom, wedding party, or as dressing rooms.
