The North Star House is a magnificent 1905 mansion located in the Heart of the Gold Country. The House was built for a mining engineer and was designed by Julia Morgan, California’s first female architect and designer of the famous Hearst Castle. The North Star House is now owned and operated by a non-profit organization dedicated to its restoration and establishment as a cultural event center.
The property offers a stunning yet affordable setting with lighted courtyard, vast lawns, romantic gardens, and sunset views from the veranda. You will have complete use of the House and grounds for 10 hours, plus tables and chairs for up to 200 people. With flexibility for how you envision you Big Day, you can dine in the courtyard or on the lawn, say “I Do” under the pergola or between the trees.
