St. Madeleine Sophie?s Center is a wedding venue and non-profit organization located in El Cajon, California, that serves adults with developmental disabilities through innovative programs designed to empower and educate. The center?s two-acre organic garden is cared for and cultivated by a team of dedicated staff and students. By choosing St. Madeleine Sophie?s Center as your wedding venue, you will be supporting and strengthening the local community. Rental proceeds provide scholarship funds, adaptive equipment, transportation, job development, art programs and so much more to 400-plus adults with developmental disabilities in the San Diego area.
Facilities and Capacity
St. Madeleine Sophie?s Center can accommodate up to 250 wedding guests in its indoor and outdoor event spaces. Just inside the gates of St. Madeleine Sophie?s Center?s ?secret garden,? visitors are transported into a tranquil oasis filled with fragrant lavender and sweet citrus. Under the shade of the mature flowering palo verde tree is the perfect spot to see your love flourish surrounded by citrus orchard, pergola, flower gardens, gazebo, ornamental trees, succulents and boutique vineyard. At every turn and through every pathway, St. Madeleine Sophie Center?s beautifully lush gardens provide the perfect backdrop for any couple’s special day.
Services Offered
At St. Madeleine Sophie?s Center, couples may host a myriad of wedding events, including bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, receptions and elopements. The center offers event rentals, a space for the wedding party to get ready for the wedding, as well as liability insurance. Couples have the freedom to personalize their day by bringing in their own vendors to assist them with all of their wedding-day needs on the day of their celebration at St. Madeleine Sophie?s Center. We also offer suggestions for trusted vendors that have worked with our facility. Venue staff will be on hand day of to answer any questions you may have in regards to the space and its amenities. St. Madeleine Sophie?s Center is a pet-friendly venue. There is ample parking for couples and their guests on their wedding day at the center.
